What is a small group coach?
A small group coach receives information and instructions from the 40 Days leadership team and passes it along to the 90 small group facilitators. Because it would be impossible for Randy to communicate to all 90 facilitators himself, they will be the ones who answer most of the facilitator questions and will provided help when needed.
Who are the small group coaches?
The small group coaches team is made up of 12 men and women who each have small group experience, a passion for small group ministry, and each are also facilitating a 40 Days small group.
How much time will this responsibility of coaching require?
The coaches will be asked to attend one (and only one) of th three small group facilitator training sessions (March 13, 20, or April 3), make 3 to 4 phone calls to their 7 to 9 small group facilitators, and pry often for the success of their 7 to 9 small groups.
How important is this coaching position?
The volunteer position of coaching is one of the most important responsibilities of the entire campaign. The majority of ministry success, and personal success, will take place within the small group setting. The coaches will have direct influence in 7 to 9 small groups!
