Where Can I Get Involved?

Voices
A choral group that rehearses weekly on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm in preparation for Sunday's 9:00 am Blended Worship Service. 
Orchestra
A wide range of musicians that rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm, accompany the Voices Choir, lead the offertory, and provide special music for Sunday's 9:00 am Blended Worship Service.
North Ridge Live
A contemporary vocal and instrumental Praise Team that rehearses Thursday evenings at 6:00 pm in preparation for the Sunday's 10:45 am Contemporary Worship Service.
Players
A ministry that offers dramatic opportunities for Sunday morning mini-dramas, as well as seasonal productions.
Ushers
A ministry for those with the gift of helps, and who like to make people feel welcome.

Music is more than a song; it is the foundation of the worship of our Holy, Abba Father. Worship is more than a thought or phrase; it requires active participants. Worship is the very essence of communication with God, our Creator.
Our heavenly Father has chosen to make His abode within each of us, and therefo re, we are the church! In the Old Testament days, singers and musicians were responsible to lead the children of Israel into battle, as well as ushering them into the sacred worship of Yahweh. Today, through the ministry of music, we lead the church into intimate worship of our Most High God, and we experience together the victory of the battle.
When taking the above into consideration, we, the singers and musicians of North Ridge Community Church, have an awesome responsibility. We are more than just a choir and orchestra. We are worship leaders --ministers of music. The expressions on our faces, as well as our voices, lead the congregation into the Holy of Holies. We hold the key to seeing our God work in wondrous ways. When the Body begins to worship in one accord, the Lord can move in many might ways, often manifesting Himself in healings, deliverances, and salvations. |
