Thom and Carol O’Neal
This is video based, five week series, that uses the story of the Donovan family as they learn about sacrificial giving and the true meaning of discipleship as they spiritually invest into others. Your community will be challenged to grow as generous leaders as they consider their Godly ambitions, their legend vs. legacy, and how to give from their essence to pour into others.
9:00 AM :: Flagstaff Room
A life stage class designed for adults who are without kids, or with kids who have moved out of the nest. But we are more than that – we are family and we love doing ‘life’ together! Won’t you join us!
Life APPS | November 12 – December 17
This is six week video based study lead by Andy Stanley. There are hundreds of thousands of phone apps available for download. These apps can be used to wake you up, to show you where to shop, to help you count calories, or to log your exercise minutes. But they can’t actually make you get up, control your spending, manage your diet, or force you to exercise.
The App Store isn’t the only place you can find apps. Did you know that the Bible has also given us many “apps” to enhance and improve our lives?
Led by Tony Griepentrog and Bruce Vahjen
10:30 AM :: Flagstaff Room
Are you a mature woman who attends church alone and really has a desire to fellowship and connect with other women? Then our Sunday morning Bible study is just for you!

Is He Coming?
50% of Muslims believe Jesus will come back in their life time – 12% of evangelical Christians believe the same thing. We will be doing a six week study in the book of Revelation. Is Jesus coming back soon? How can we know? What does the Bible say?
Led by Phil Coram
Sundays 4/30 – 6/25 *no meeting on 5/14
Prescott Room | 10:30-11:45AM | Facilitators: Dermino’s
Now Dr. Tim Kimmel, founder of Family Matters ministries, offers a refreshing new look at parenting. Rejecting rigid rules and checklists that don’t work, Dr. Kimmel recommends a parenting style that mirrors God’s love, reflects His forgiveness, and displaces fear as a motivator for behavior. As we embrace the grace God offers, we begin to give it-creating a solid foundation for growing morally strong and spiritually motivated children.
10:45 AM :: Cottonwood Room ::

Do you ever wonder if and how we can really believe the Bible to be true? Do you ever wonder if we can know for sure if we’re going to heaven? Then this class may be for you. In the course of 6 to 7 weeks, we’ll hit several common questions about God, faith, the church and the Bible.
One of the basic distinctives in this course is fun. Yes, fun. It’s NOT a formal lecture. Rather, it’s fun and interactive. So whether you’re one who enjoys talking or one who would rather sit and take it all in, you will most likely enjoy this casual learning environment.
Next class: Being Scheduled
9:00 AM :: Mesquite Room

- Christianity 202 “Understanding The Old Testament” June 26th-July 31st

- Christianity 206 “ Sharing Your Faith”
Did you know that God has uniquely wired you to make a difference for Him in the church and in your world? During our S.H.A.P.E. class you will learn your unique S.H.A.P.E. and where to use it.
SPIRITUAL GIFTS – What has God supernaturally gifted me to do?
God gives you spiritual gifts to use in ministry. (1 Corinthians 12; Romans 8; Ephesians 4).
HEART – What do I have passion for and love to do?
The Bible teaches that your heart determines why you say the things you do, why you feel the way you do, and why you act the way you do. (Proverbs 4:23)
ABILITIES – What natural talents and skills to I have?
These are natural talents God gives you so you can accomplish His purposes. In Exodus 31:3, God gives “skill, ability, and knowledge in all kinds of crafts…”
PERSONALITY – Where does my personality best suit me to serve?
Your personality affects the way you use your gifts. For instance, two people may have the gift of evangelism, but if one is introverted and the other is extroverted, that gift will be expressed differently.
EXPERIENCES – What spiritual/painful/educational/ministry experiences have I had?
There are five common experiences that influence your service to others
educational, vocational, spiritual, ministry, and painful experiences.

No other letters in the church do a better job than I and II Timothy in describing the qualifications, the challenges, and the role of leadership in the church. If you have questions about how to support leadership, whether God may be calling you to be a leader, or what does God expect of leaders in the church, you will benefit greatly from this study on Paul’s Words to a young leader in a local church.
For more information, contact Janet Limmer at (480) 948-1415.
We’d love to have you join us!
Just as the name describes, LIFE GROUPS are where life happens. God never intended us to do life alone, “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another…” Hebrews 10:25a. LIFE GROUPS at North Ridge come in many sizes and locations. There are groups that meet Sunday mornings in classrooms around the church; there are groups that meet other days of the week on campus, there are dozens of groups that meet during the week in homes around the community; there are groups for women, men, singles, and more.
Visit our LIFE Group pages to read more and to see how to get plugged in.
