The Farm: Life Lessons From The Good Shepherd (Week 3)

About 10-12 years ago my kids gave me a great gift! It was a Garmin GPS which was fairly expensive at the time but now comes free on most phones. Prior to the GPS, I (along with everyone else) had to use a map (with tiny print!) if I needed directions to some place I wanted or needed to go. But that all changed when someone I loved gave me this awesome gift and I’ve been traveling the right road ever since- well at least most of the time!

Just as the gift of direction is important in driving, it’s important in living life as well. People who know and go the way God wants them to travel end up far better off than those who don’t. Psalm 23:3 tells us that God (our Good Shepherd) wants to give us frequently lost sheep the gift of direction. Since He loves us, He wants us to find and follow the right road which is called “the path of righteousness”. But how do I do that? Join us this Sunday for week three of our series called The Farm: Life Lessons From The Good Shepherd. This week we will identify four ways to find and follow God’s direction for your life and how to get off the wrong road and get on the right road. In addition to this important message, we will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper in all three of our worship services, taking some time to worship our Good Shepherd, and logging some love hanging out with “the best flock on the block”!

It’s going to be an awesome Sunday so I hope you’ll make it a priority to stop by North Ridge and invite along a friend as well. I sure do love you and your crew and can’t wait to see what God is going to do and where He wants to take us this week! Have a wonderful weekend, my friends, and thanks for making hope happen!

Your Fellow Sheep,

Pastor Mike

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.

They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.

John 14:5,6 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we don’t know where You are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
