Students - Special Events
In addition to our core services, we also offer a unique and broad set of programs and activities that encourage spiritual, physical and emotional growth. These unique opportunities are integrated into the Student Ministry as a whole, but operate as specific tracks for involvement depending on the interests of the student.
High School Events are in RED, Junior High Events are in BLUE
Camps & Retreats
Our camps and retreats offer students a chance to get away from everyday distractions and discover a deeper walk with God. Our camps promote fun activities, friendships and spiritual growth as they open the door for a personal encounter with Christ. Summer camp takes place in southern California or northern Arizona in June. Our winter camp takes place at Lost Canyon in Williams, AZ in January.
Trips & Outreach
North Ridge believes in young people, their significance and their potential. Outreach opportunities are coordinated team efforts to extend the love of Christ and His message of hope to the community. Activities include sporting events, meals shared, weekend trips to amusement parks and other fun events.
Worship Team
The Student Ministry worship teams are for students and by students. These teams are trained in all aspects of leading corporate worship. These aspects of the ministry are supervised by experienced and qualified student leaders at North Ridge.
Missions
Serving abroad can have a unique and lasting impact as it establishes an awareness of need throughout the world. Mission trips provide students with the means of meeting those needs by serving others who cannot give in return, and by sharing with them the good news of Christ. To heed the calling of the Great Commission is an experience like no other – an unforgettable milestone in the life of every young participant. We partner with a great organization, Love Walks, taking trips during each semester.
