Sunday Morning Life-Stage Classes
Pastor Dan King (480) 515-4673
There are certain times in life when a person feels like they need to connect with others who may be going through some of the same issues they are. This is the purpose of our Life-Stage Classes.
Families with Young Children - 9:00am - Cottonwood Room
A group of adults with children from birth through elementary school who meet together to learn how to build strong marriages, strong families and a strong personal faith.
Spiritual Parenting (May 5th - June 9th)
It's hard enough to train kids to behave, but good behavior isn't what Jesus calls for in the Bible. He wants hearts and souls that are shaped in vibrant faith and love toward God and others. How can parents cultivate this in their children? This study empowers parents to be the primary nurturers of their children's faith and teaches them how to create a home environment God can use to work in their children's lives. Families will be transformed as they learn how to create space for God-encounters in everyday life.
Join together with other parents who have young children while learning biblical skills for raising families, strengthening marriages/relationships and growing their relationship with Christ. What a great opportunity to meet new friends. Hope to see you Sunday!
Have more questions? Contact David or Jessica Bein via email.
Parents of Tweens and Teens - 9:00am - Prescott Room
A gathering of parents who have middle and high school students who together are learning biblical skills for raising teenagers, strengthening marriages/relationships and growing in their relationship with Christ.
Current Class: The Forgotten God (April 28th - June 9th) Led by Kent Taylor

This a practical investigation of the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives. While your students are in their groups, why not join an adult group with others who, like you, are parents of tweens and/or teens?
(Call Kent or Donna Taylor 602.317.7163 for more info)
Crossroads - 9:00am - Flagstaff Room
A class for busy adults in their 40's and 50's
Current Study: We Are Church (by Francis Chan) (May 5th - June 2nd) Led by Dan King
Are we doing church the way the Bible instructs us? Are we supposed to gather in a building once a week to sing a few songs and hear someone else talk about God? Are we really supposed to take Communion facing forward in silence, eating dry wafers and drinking wine from tiny plastic cups? Is that the church Jesus asked His followers to create?
In this bold new small group study, Francis Chan takes on the practical aspects of the church, distilling the reality of God’s design for the church into foundational truths that will challenge Christians to become the church described in Scripture. Hope you will join us!

Romans: Celebrating the Good News
Romans: Celebrating the Good News, is part of the Bringing the Bible to Life series, written by leading scholars for lay study, and explores both the historical meaning of the biblical text and its contemporary significance. Romans provides a journey through the biblical book with discussion questions, and a closing section that assists you in moving past just a surface reading of the Bible into a deeper understanding of God's Word and how it applies to you.
NEW - A Second Look (Senior Adult Life Group) - 10:30 Prescott Room
Would you like to take the Sunday sermon and go deeper, learn to apply it to your every day life? Then this group is for you. Join us starting June 2nd for this new senior adult life group. Led by Dave Parker
Join other married and single adults (ages mid-60’s and older) for an in-depth study of God's Word. We will follow Pastor Mike’s lead to examine and learn about the scripture presented in the Sunday morning worship service. This is an excellent opportunity to meet with other worshipers you see at the 9 a.m. service.
Home Groups
Throughout the neighborhood and throughout the week there are small group studies being conducted where the Bible is studied, friendships are made and relationships are strengthened. If you are interested in more information about one of the existing small groups or on how to begin a small group in your home contact Pastor Dan King.
