What to Expect at North Ridge
What can I expect when I come to North Ridge?
Q. What should I expect at North Ridge?
A. You should expect to feel welcomed. Not just by the pastors, but also by the regular attendees of North Ridge. We know how hard it is to try a new church, so we try our best to make you feel welcomed and at home. Generally speaking, you should expect kind and warm people who love others and love God.
Q. Where do I go first when I arrive on Sunday morning?
A. First, park in the guest parking area along 64th Street. Click here for a map to North Ridge.
Second, inform the greeters who are in the breezeway that you're new to North Ridge.
Third, the greeters will show you where your children can go (optional; our children's area is a safe, clean and nurturing environment) and where the Worship Center is located. Although we have several buildings on campus, we have many people identified with a greeter nametag to help you around our campus.
Fourth, stop in at the Information Table. Our friendly people are happy to answer any questions you may have, help you find your way around our campus, or offer you suggestions on how to get plugged in at North Ridge.
Q. What should I wear?
A. When you attend North Ridge you'll find that there is not a "uniform" way to dress, most people dress very comfortably. Depending on the time of year, you'll see both men and women wearing shorts, t-shirts, jeans and sandals.
Q. How do I meet people?
A. On Sunday morning, go to the main building in the middle of campus. At each entrance you'll find people standing and greeting everyone - they will be happy to help you find the right building for you and your family.
Q. Can I bring my children with me into church?
A. Yes. You may bring your children and teens with you, or you can sign them into an area that's designed to teach them the Bible on their level.
Q. Do you expect me to give money?
A. No. In fact, we'd rather you not put money into the offering plate. We require nothing of you except to come and relax, and enjoy the morning.
Q. How do the three services differ?
A. The
9:00am service in the Worship Center has a 40 voice choir and full live orchestra.
The
10:30am service in the Worship Center has a contemporary rock band.
The
10:30am Coffee House family service in The Ridge offers acoustic guitar music and video venue.
The
5:00pm Live at Five family service in The Ridge offers contemporary rock band.
All three services include the same message from the Bible by the same pastor.
Q. Is North Ridge part of a denomination?
A. No. North Ridge is a non-denominational community church.
